Are You Qualified?

We have received some great recognition:

  • Angie’s List Super Service Award since 2009
  • Milwaukee “A List” for Best Roofer in 2013 & 2014

  1. What are the indications that I may need a new roof?

If any or all of the following apply, please contact us for a quote.

    • Asphalt shingle roofs: curling of shingles, excessive granule loss, cracking or lifting of shingles, shingle loss or leaks.
    • Cedar shake roofs: curling or lifting of shakes, gaps between shakes larger than 1/2″, shingles blowing off or leaks.
  2. What happens when I call for an estimate?

Once we have all of your information (address, phone number, and email address) we will write up a bid sheet and hand it off to a representative from our company. You should hear from them directly within 72 hours. That person will be your contact person throughout the process. He or she is responsible for producing your proposal, meeting with you to answer questions before / during / after, and bringing you product samples to make color decisions.

  3. What asphalt shingle products do you use?

We only use Owens Corning or CertainTeed shingle products. Both of these companies make excellent shingles with superior warranties and are rated #1 and #2 on Consumer Reports for asphalt shingles. The price-to-quality ratio makes them a better investment than less expensive shingles.

  4. How long will my roofing job take?

In most cases, an averaged size home will be started and completed all in the same day.

  5. Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured and bonded.

  6. Do you pull permits?

Each community is different; however, if your community requires a permit for roofing or any other work that we will be completing, we will pull the initial permit and call for final inspection.

  7. How do you protect my house and yard when working on my roof or project?

We place tarps around the house to protect the yard and plantings. We lean plywood against the house to protect the siding and lay plywood on decks, patios and stamped concrete to protect those areas as well. If your roof has a steep pitch, we will also temporarily install planks at the gutter line to slow the fall of roofing material to the ground, lessening impact in the yard.

  8. What happens to the shingles that you remove from our roof?

We work with a disposal company that recycles asphalt shingles.

  9. When is the best time to have our project completed?

We install roofs and gutters year-round. Since we often only need one day to complete your project, we can schedule your work around any weather conditions. We are usually busiest in the fall when most people want to finish projects before the snow flies.

  10. What other services do you provide?

Gutters – We make and install seamless gutters on site, with a wide variety of color choices.

Masonry – We tuck point existing brick or stone, repair and re-build chimneys, pour custom chimney caps and flat work such as sidewalks and driveways.

Carpentry – We perform a range of services from small repairs to full house builds.

  11. Are you certified?

We hold a Dwelling Contractor Certification, a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Certification, a Building Contractor Registration, a City of Milwaukee Home Improvement Contractor License and certifications for Lead Safe Renovator and Lead Safe Contractor.

  12. What other credentials do you have?

We are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, a CertainTeed Shinglemaster, a CertainTeed Master Craftsman, a Vinyl Siding Institute Certified Installer and a CertainTeed Wolverine Vinyl and Restoration Millwork certified installer.

  13. Are you a member of any organizations?

We are members of NARI, MBA, WBA and BBB

  14. Have you won any awards?

We have received the Angie’s List Super Service Award every year since 2009. We have also won the Milwaukee “A List” for Best Roofer in 2013 & 2014.
