When Started

Dave started Over the Top Roofing in 1999 and merged with Rick Ihnen's construction company in 2007. At that time, Dave took the Vice President role on every day-to-day business transactions, dealing with new customers and clients.

Previous Experience / Work

• Dave was trained as a tool and die maker and worked 7 years at Plas-Tec Tool & Dienamics.
• While Dave was working in the tool and die trade, he opened Adrianos pizza pickup and delivery in Menomonee Falls.
• Dave then invested in a Big Apple Bagels franchise, owning 3 locations.
• When Dave was unable to find a reliable contractor to do work on his home, he decided to become the contractor he always wanted to hire and started Over the Top Roofing.

Roles within the Company

Dave focuses on larger corporate clients with commercial flat roofing needs.

Dave has 2 children, Eleanore and Evin. He loves to travel and downhill skiing, snowmobiling are his winter activities. In summer, Dave can be found riding his Harley around town or ATV'ing with his kids.

When Started

Rick merged his construction company with Dave's roofing company in 2007 and is the president of Over the Top Roofing & Construction.

Previous Experience / Work

Rick owned RGI Construction from 2002-2007, working as a contractor and subcontractor all over Southeast Wisconsin. He has been in the building trades since 1995.

Roles within the Company

Rick focuses on the day-to-day business and clients with asphalt roofing, carpentry and construction needs.

Rick is happily married with children. Rick enjoys hunting, fishing and travel with his family as much as possible.

Certified Installer

Rick Ihnen is a Silver Level Vinyl Siding Installer certified by the Vinyl Siding Institute.

When Started

Due to our growing business Dayna joined our company in September of 2013 to assist our salesman and our office manager.

Previous Experience

Dayna’s background includes payroll, banking, customer service and teaching.

• Dayna has 20+ years combined in the banking and customer service industries.
• Dayna is also an Early Childhood teacher, certified in levels 1 and 2.
• Dayna rounds out her background with years of payroll and finance/business experience.

Role

Dayna’s main role within the company is to work closely with our sales team and office manager. She performs essential office duties such as:

• Customer Service; answering incoming customer calls, emails and lead assignments.
• Marketing; updates to our Facebook page, vetting subcontractors for promotional items, website design, etc.
• Sales Assistance; typing proposals, ordering sales materials, entering warranties with manufacturers and heads our rebate programs.
• Miscellaneous office duties as needed.

Personal Touch

I am a mother to 4 wonderful children. I enjoy attending the children’s sporting activities, gardening, backing the Packers and fishing for largemouth bass. I despise cold weather and dream of one day moving to warmer climates.

When Started

Brad joined our company in July 2011 and has performed duties such as field measurement technician to sales. Brad currently works as our project manager scheduling and overseeing jobs on a daily basis.

Previous Experience

In addition to working for Over the Top Roofing and Construction Brad is also an owner and vice president of Condo Development Inc. He’s a Wisconsin licensed Real Estate salesperson and has been in general contracting and project development since 1994.

Role

Brad’s duties include but are not limited to ordering/bidding, project management and employee management as well as general manager.

Personal Touch

I am recently engaged with our wedding scheduled in June of 2016, I have 3 children ages 5, 12 and 13. I enjoy spending time with my kids and fiance', traveling, boating, bike riding, rollerblading, playing and watching basketball, wake boarding and snowmobiling. I have been a youth football coach for the Lake Country Chiefs program for the last 4 years and I enjoy watching the boys improve their football and life skills.

When Started

James started in April of 2013

Previous Experience

James earned his 4 year degree at Carroll College and received a Bachelor of Science of Business in spring of 2006.

He worked as a project consultant for a smaller building company focusing on specific improvements around building envelope on homes.

He received extensive management and outside consulting training through Certified Contractors Network out of Pennsylvania.

He worked as an outside sales representative for a large commercial based company.

He took over commercial account management and became the lead outside sales representative to help establish a full time commercial division to grow the company.

Role

Establish relationships and sales through a professional consultation with our clients.

Refine sales and organizational skills through training and networking with industry professionals.

Accountable for project management and follow-up of current and past clients and or accounts.

Develop client focused solutions using the necessary industry specifications and manufacturers regulations.

Tailor appropriate specifications to meet customer’s wants and needs and create proposals to present our recommendations.

Personal Touch

Family means everything to me and I love spending time with them... and our dog Axl (who is a boxer), also considered our 4 legged son, who is spoiled rotten HAHA

I am happily married and a father.

I enjoy being outdoors anytime I can.

I love to be up north in the woods on the lake or in the streams of upper MI.

Hunting and fishing is an addiction!

I played four years of college football for Carroll University as a strong safety.

I really enjoy sports, mainly football and I always represent for the cheese head nation wherever I go.
